On Friday Hellen Sinclair came to talk to all the children at St Andrews about Tanzania. Primaries 1, 2 and 3 were fascinated to hear about her work as a volunteer in a school in Tanzania, and to discover how different life is for children living in that part of the world.
| Hellen taught us how to say simple greetings in Swahili. |
| She told us about some of the animals she had seen. |
| She showed us pictures of some of the homes in Tanzania. |
| Hellen told us that some people in Tanzania are very poor. |
| Schools in Tanzania are very different from here. |
| Children who go to school there are very happy to be there. |
| Thank you, Hellen. We really enjoyed your talk! |
