Problem Solving

In Problem Solving we had to work out how many different ways we could arrange three children.

We discovered that there were six different ways to arrange them!  We also found out that it was much easier to do it in an organised way, with each child standing in the same place twice.

After that, we had to work out how many ways we could arrange three different teddies.

Again, we found it was easier to do it in an organised way!

Vikings project

Our challenge was to work in groups to create posters showing clothes worn by Viking men and women. Our posters had to include information about what material was used to make the clothes, who made them and how they were made.

Look at our blog next week to see our finished posters!

Outdoor Learning

The problem - to find a way to cross the crocodile infested swamp using only four stepping stones.  Only one person was allowed on a stone at a time, everyone had to get across and nobody was allowed to step in the swamp!
Let's plan carefully!
It's always good to talk.
Good teamwork!
Nearly there!
